Redefining Possible
The Beginning: Seeking Something Epic When Olga first reached out to RTA Triathlon, she was looking for something extraordinary — something that would challenge her beyond the routine of daily life. “I wanted something epic,” she said. “Something that would take me out of the mundane and ordinary. After a decade of dedicating myself to my kids and career, I needed something just for me.” Triathlon became that “something.” It wasn’t just about fitness; it was about reclaiming her identity — mentally, physically, and emotionally. Motivated by beating the odds and proving to herself that she could do hard things, Olga went all in. She joined RTA Triathlon for personalized coaching and support. “I needed guidance,” she said. “Someone who would understand what I needed and help me break through my own barriers. Elizabeth saw me — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. She believed in me and never sugarcoated anything.” The Training Journey: Grit, Guidance, and Growth

The Comeback: Refusing to Settle for Mediocrity For Olga, quitting wasn’t an option. “I realized I’ll never settle for mediocre or accept defeat,” she said. “My kids saw me fail that day — but I wanted them to also see what happens next. I wanted to show them what tough really looks like.” So instead of ending her season early, she made a bold decision: she would sign up for another race — IRONMAN Maryland, just nine weeks later. With Coach Elizabeth’s guidance, RTA adjusted her plan. The focus shifted from rebuilding fitness to maintaining sharpness, confidence, and emotional resilience. Together, they managed recovery, fine-tuned her race-day strategy, and ensured she arrived at the next start line healthy and ready. IRONMAN Maryland: A Dream Realized
