Your expert coach will build a custom program that navigates the life demands of normal people with busy careers and active families. We will train you according to your age, background, skill set and physiology using the latest science & technologies to help maximize your potential.
Throughout training, we will educate and work with you to create a nutrition plan to help power you through your workouts and races.
On race day, you will be armed with a race execution plan and have confidence in your ability to nail it.

How It Works
1. TRAINING CONSULT
We want to learn about you & your goals. We'll explain how coaching works, answer your questions and determine if we are a good fit for you. Click "Get Started" below to schedule your consult.
2. SET UP
Once you decide to work with RTA, you will complete an Athlete Questionnaire so your coach can get all the remaining details. We’ll set you up on our training platform and your coach will begin to develop your custom training program.
We take the guesswork out of training. Execute your workouts - designed specifically for you, your schedule and goals. Communicate with your coach. Ask as many questions as you need along the way. Your program is fluid and will adapt and progress as you become stronger and fitter.
Armed with a specific race strategy and nutrition plan you will arrive at the start line confident and ready to rock. After you cross your finish line, don’t forget to celebrate!

HOW MUCH TIME IS NEEDED TO PREPARE FOR MY RACE?
This depends on what your goals are, your current level of fitness and the distance of your event. Really, the more time you have, the better we can prepare you. READ MORE here and/or ask for more info during your Training Consult.
I'M A BEGINNER, DO I NEED A COACH?
Beginners can benefit TREMENDOUSLY by having a coach by saving time, money and skipping the inevitable mistakes along the way.
WHICH ATHLETES BENEFIT THE MOST FROM HAVING A COACH?
Anyone who has specific goals. It could be as simple as finishing your first triathlon or Half Ironman or FULL Ironman. Or as lofty as qualifying for a championship event.
Maybe you have been in the sport for years, but haven't gotten much faster as of late (BTW - age is not an excuse!). You likely just need some guidance on your training.
Or perhaps you find yourself always getting injured or totally exhausted. Many times, even the BEST athletes need a third party (i.e. Coach) to tell them to take a day off or execute a specific workout differently.
In short, if you have a demanding schedule and don't have time to figure it out, hiring a coach is something you should seriously consider.
WHAT ARE YOUR COACHING CREDENTIALS?
Our coaches have a long list of credentials and extensive race experience at all distances, but most importantly they have been coaching full time for over 10 years. The major differentiator is the real world experience coaching athletes on a daily basis. MEET THE COACHES
Should I get into shape before starting a program?
It's ok if you aren't currently in shape. When people take it upon themselves to get "in shape" they run the risk of injury, lose interest due to lack of accountability and/or do too much too quickly and become discouraged.
We will help you build yourself up slowly and properly while feeling good about your progress along the way.
I DON'T LIVE LOCALLY, CAN WE STILL WORK TOGETHER?
Yes, we work with athletes from across the country.
CAN I SPEAK DIRECTLY WITH YOUR CURRENT/PAST ATHLETES?
Absolutely. Just let us know and we will give you the contact information (with their permission) of a few folks who had similar goals and circumstances as you.
CAN YOU GUARANTEE I WILL FINISH MY RACE?
No, but if we coach you and you do your workouts as prescribed, we can guarantee you will arrive at the start line, with a race strategy and in the best position possible to succeed and have a great race.
