Needless to say, no triathlete or cyclist enjoys getting a flat tire while riding or racing on their bicycle. Sometimes it’s just back luck, but other times it can be prevented. Here’s a simple precaution you can take prior to riding to help reduce the risk of getting flatting. It takes 2 minutes. This is especially a NO BRAINER before EACH RACE FLAT TIRE: 3 STEP PROCESS TO REDUCE YOUR RISK IF YOU DO GET A FLAT TIRE… You SHOULD know how to fix it. If you do NOT, (unfortunately) you’re not alone. Fixing a flat is actually pretty simple. It just takes a little practice. Many times people find it helpful to ask their local bike shop for some help. Once you feel comfortable fixing a flat, you’ll feel much more confident the next time you’re out on the road.
