Let’s Make It! Chop the onion Dice the carrots Mince the garlic THEN saute w/ olive oil in a pan over the stove Next, add 1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar to the pan and mix everything together. After that is looking nice and tasty, put everything in the crock pot. Add 2 cans of organic great northern white beans (rinsed in colander) and 1 cup of dried split peas. Finally, add 5.5 cups of water and a little oregano. SET IT AND FORGET IT! Turn the crock put on low for 8 hours. 20 minutes before serving add a bag of mixed greens.
